Longines

Longines
The story of Longines began in 1832 when Auguste Agassiz, a young entrepreneur, founded a watch-making workshop in St. Imier in the Swiss Mountains. In 1867, Longines received their first of many prizes at the World Expo in Paris for an outstanding achievement in pocket watch design. Longines gained a reputation for creating watches that would help to shape history as they were worn on the wrists of such pioneers as Amelia Earhart and Charles Lindberg who designed the still famous Hour Angle aviator watch. Longines is a complicated and refined timepiece that will always be a treasured possession. Longines has been named the world's most honored watch.
