Born March 24, 1951, and raised in Elmira, New York, Thomas Jacob Hilfiger grew up in an Irish Catholic family. At the age of 18 he opened a store called "The People's Place" in upstate New York. Then, seven years later it went bankrupt and Hilfiger left retail in pursuit of designing clothing. Tommy Hilfiger, Inc. was soon founded, and the company went public a year later. Now the Hilfiger brand is one of the most recognizable labels in the world. Hilfiger took what started as men's jeans and sportswear, to a half-billion-dollar empire encompassing men's wear, women's wear, children's wear, footwear, eyeglasses, fragrances and home furnishings! Warranty Information
Tommy Hilfiger Watches (THW) warrants to the original consumer that his/her watch will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase. During this period, the watch will be replaced (at the sole discretion of THW) free of charge if it proves to be defective in materials or workmanship under normal use. This limited warranty does not cover batteries, straps, gold-plating, scratches, or any damage arising from normal wear, accidents or misuse, or from any alteration, service or repair performed by any party other than the Tommy Hilfiger Watch Compnay or its authorized service center.
