Benetton

Benetton is a company that began its operations in the 1960's with a targeted marketing group consisting of the young and lower income. It wanted to give a group that had been neglected by other designers a voice and a face. Benetton has become one the world's best-known clothing brands since the late 1980's. As a result of striking and often internationally controversial advertising campaigns, the Benetton Group brought unique attention to its product lines that inevitably faired well on sales plans. Benetton had a failed attempt at the watch industry, almost 10 years ago in the midst of the Swatch Boom. By 2003, Benetton entered a partnership with Sector Group that displayed a synergetic and successful mix. The Benetton line here at WristWatch represents the watch enthusiast wanting to make a statement not only by the type of watch they wear, but also by the name on it.
